Before entering law, Scott spent over 15 years in the healthcare industry:

· 8 Years of experience in Healthcare Insurance

· 5 Years of experience in Pharmaceutical

Scott has amassed a wealth of knowledge about the healthcare system from first-hand experience, and he applies  that knowledge to help healthcare businesses succeed.  He has excelled in a variety of disciplines in the Healthcare Industry, including Information Technology, Health Outcomes Research, Provider Contracting, Health Benefits Negotiations, Project Management, Clinical Trial Data Management, and Global Strategic Marketing & Pricing.

Scott is a member of the Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys, American Health Lawyers Association, American Bar Association (where he held a leadership position), and the Washington State Bar Association.

Scott graduated with honors from Seattle University School of Law on a partial merit scholarship.  He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Economics on a partial merit scholarship from University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, where he also earned Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemistry, Sociology, and Economics, and a minor in Mathematics.  Among the many awards and honors Scott earned, his most prized is the Leadership Merit Award, which he characterizes as a recognition of his ability to bring out the best in others, and to foster their cooperation and progress.

Scott is married and blessed with a wonderful wife and family, with whom he spends his time away from the office.  He enjoys the outdoors, hiking, camping, and paddling.  Scott enjoys the physical and social sciences, and he combines his leisure time with learning.  He has held leadership positions in the National Speleological Society, (caving), and has lectured on geology and geo-chemical processes.  He has held an adjunct professor position in Sociology, teaching Principles of Sociological Analysis and Minority/Majority Relations.
